Rafting uses the inland Cetina, not the river mouth in town. Compare transfers and whether caving or cliff jumping is optional. Omiš is unusual because river, canyon, mountains and sea meet within a few kilometres. Check the exact meeting point: many rafting and canyon tours start upriver, while island boats leave from the town harbour. A transfer from Split in the title does not automatically mean an Omiš departure.

The defining experiences are on and above the Cetina: rafting, calm canyon boat rides, canyoning and zipline. The old town, Mirabela and Fortica add history, while sea boats connect Omiš with Brač.
Not all of them. Island and river boats commonly use the town harbour, but rafting and canyoning meeting points can be upriver. Some offers include pickup in Split. Always read the meeting point, not only the title.
Omiš has excursion and taxi boats but no scheduled passenger ferry. For regular ferry and catamaran services to the islands, travel to Split or Makarska.
The road distance is about 25 kilometres. Buses commonly take around 45–60 minutes, but the D8 can be much slower in summer traffic, especially around the entrances to Omiš.
